Langebaan's Secret Season

Posted on Mon April 10, 2023.

Autumn is our favourite time of year in Langebaan.

Autumn is Langebaan's secret season. Cool, crisp, clear nights , and calm, windless, warm days, makes this time of the year our favourite. Load shedding makes the night sky stars declare God's glory even more than usual. (Water's Edge has solar backup so while most of the neighbourhood is without power, you can still enjoy a movie after you have have finished admiring the skies).
Because the water is so flat most mornings, it is the ideal time to get out on the water on one of our surf skis or kayaks. Subject to availability and at own risk, the use of them is free this month for all our guests. It is also the time of year when dolphin sightings are more likely, we had a pod of about 60 swim up the channel on Tuesday, much to the delight of beach walkers and people on the water.
We would like to share this special time of year with you and so are doing a 20% discount promotion on all our accommodation, whether you book with a channel, or on our website - www.langebaan.online
