Langebaan Online Accommodation offers self-catering accommodation in a lovely coastal town
The tranquil town of Langebaan, situated on a huge lagoon on the West Coast of South Africa has a fascinating history going back hundreds of years that includes the Khoikhoi Strandlopers, German, French, Dutch, English, Afrikaans and even an American Civil War connection.
The town is about 75 minutes’ drive from Cape Town and boasts some of the best kitesurfing in the world, particularly over the summer months of November to February, with international and local kite surfers enjoying the daily southeaster.
From March, the quiet lagoon beaches and town provide a relaxing atmosphere for a quiet break. Kayaks, surf skis, surfers, paddle boards and all sorts of water sports take place on the lagoon throughout the year. And of course, Langebaan is a perfect base from which to explore the world-famous west coast and Namaqualand wildflower display from the middle of August through to the end of September.

Water's Edge
Set right on the main beach, this unique property consists of a one-bedroomed self-catering apartment (Water’s Edge 1) and a totally separate three bedroomed house (Water’s Edge 2); both are safe, secure and very comfortable.
Red Bishop
Red Bishop offers four fully equipped, luxury apartments. Each apartment has its own private veranda with barbecue. The property has a rear gate leading out to a wetland that is a hive of many species of birdlife as well as home to our resident mongooses. Red Bishop is eight minutes’ walk from the beach.

Beach on your doorstep, Langebaan ☼
Stunning location 2 seconds to the beach . Accommodation was very comfortable throughout, spotlessly clean. Bed was really comfortable with quality linen. Great bathroom. We loved our stay here. Everything needed was here. We Highly recommend.

Birds, beach and beauty ♥
The unit is exceptional! I particularly like the idea on the plumbing and the lighting especially the three lamps suspended overhead the nook next to the microwave, creates an ambience when all other lights are turned off. The unit itself has the rustic finish and feel to it which makes it all to comfy and allows you to forget about the rat race beyond the perimeter.

We really enjoyed our stay at Red Bishop. It is a beautiful apartment with an eye for details. It is a perfect spot for families and friends to relax and share some moments on the terrace. We will definitely come back one day.
